Scope:

Engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the supply of: 

• N.1 new 25 MVA transformer
• N.1 set of current transformers (CTs) 
• Extension of the medium-voltage switchgear
• Upgrade of the protection and control system 
• Provision for future substation expansion to accommodate a second transformer bay and an incoming HV line bay 

Project Details 

Upgrade project of a 132 kV HV bay, including provisions for the future construction of a second transformer bay, a busbar system, and a new grid connection bay. The project was particularly challenging due to the very limited outage windows required to minimize production losses, as well as the logistical complexities associated with transporting the transformer by sea.
